Day by day itinerary

Day 1: Palermo.
Arrival in Palermo airport and own transfer to your hotel. Tonight, you will enjoy a Welcome Dinner at local restaurant. (D)
Day 2: Palermo and Monreale.
We start with a walking tour of Palermo, including a visit to the lovely Capo Market. Continuing to the Massimo Theatre square, the Palatine Chapel, the Hall of King Roger II, the Four Corners and the great Pretoria Square with the lovely fountain. Afternoon dedicated to the visit of Monreale, to admire the 6340 square meters gold mosaics into the famous Dome. Return to Palermo. Free time for leisure or dinner. (BB)
Day 3: Cefalu' and Piazza Armerina.
Departure to Cefalù, a charming coastal town, with a massive Norman Cathedral with outstanding mosaics. Here we will visit the city centre and a walk in the main streets to reach the Cathedral. Then drive through the interior of Sicily to reach Piazza Armerina. Time at leisure for your own lunch. Then you will visit one of the most sumptuous villas of the late Roman Empire, whose floor mosaics comprise the most vital and colourful manifestation of Roman figurative art in Europe. Continue across the island to reach Taormina. Dinner in hotel. (BB D)
Day 4: Catania and Siracusa.
After breakfast, departure to Catania, the city made by lava and standing at the slopes of
of Mount Etna. The town is called the "black and white city" because of white plaster and marble and black lava form major parts of its architectural adornment. Here we will visit the old centre of the city with its famous Piazza Duomo with the fountain of the ancient elephant. Then we will drive to Siracusa. On arrival walk in the island of Ortigia, the picturesque and densely built original centre of Syracuse. Lunch at local restaurant.
