Today you will meet your Driver-Escort, and drive across the vast countryside: this enables us to see Sicily's great variety of sceneries. We soon arrive in Agrigento, whose history dates back to 580 BC. Own tour to the Valley of the Temples, a magnificent cluster of Greek ruins overlooking the Mediterranean Sea. Later, we depart to Piazza Armerina, to own visit the ruins of the Roman Villa of Casale. The fine mosaics discovered here are celebrated among scholars of antiquity. After own visit, we drive along the coast to Taormina, the world famous resort of Sicily.

Day 1: Palermo hotel/Polizzi Generosa/Taormina.
Today you will meet your Driver-Escort and drive to Polizzi Generosa, a lovely town in the heart of the Madonie Natural Park, in the Palermo province. The territory of the Madonie Mountains is an isle in the island, a paradise of earth and sky where each corner guards its perfect history and its nature. We soon arrive in Polizzi Generosa, where the architectonic patrimony comes alive, spacing on the surrounding charming natural atmosphere, where the typical madoniti endemismi grow, and on the signs of the material culture: the ancient masseria transformed in farmhouse companies, the flour mills that testify the water wealth of the territory and the furnaces in which nowadays, like once, craftsmen work the ceramics. On arrival, Donna Santina will welcome us at her country charm restaurant. She will introduce us her kitchen and ....start the cooking course!!! At the end of the course we'll enjoy the light-lunch, a tasting of really typical local madonite dishes such us olives, bread, tagliatelle and the deliciously mixed antipasti. Don't forget to taste the Sfoglio, a delicious local cheese-cake famous in this town!!! During afternoon, we drive to Taormina.
