Private half day and full day excursions with driver and tour escort in the requested languages. The prices of these tours are based upon the number of participants. The rates do not include admission fees, which are usually around EUR 6,00 per person payable directly on the spot. Lunch is also not included and it can be organized togheter with our tour escort. The excursions are available all year long for small and big groups.
Our collective and private daily tours and excursions itineraries

Tour 1 - Palermo and Monreale (full day excursion).
Full day by bus and tour leader in the requested language, visiting the most important Arab Norman monuments of Palermo: The cappella Palatina, the cathedral, the Quattro canti and the Massimo theatre. Lunch in typical restaurant (on request). After lunch, prosecution to Monreale and visit of the cathedral with its marvelous mosaics and the Benedictine cloister with its Moorish architecture.
Tour 2 - Palermo and Cefalů (full day excursion).
Full day by bus and tour leader in the requested language, visiting the most important Arab Norman monuments of Palermo: The cappella Palatina, the cathedral, the Quattro canti and the Massimo theatre. Lunch in typical restaurant (on request). After lunch, prosecution to Cefalů, a charming coastal town, with a massive Norman cathedral with outstanding mosaics.
Tour 3 - Siracusa and Catania (full day excursion).
Full day by bus or mini bus with tour leader in the requested language, discovering the archaeological park Neapolis of Siracusa (Greek theatre, Dionisio’s ear, Roman amphitheatre) and the Baroque isle of Ortigia. Time for typical lunch (on request). In the afternoon guided walking tour in Catania, “the black city”; the cathedral, via Etnea, via Crociferi and the ancient Pescheria (the fish market).
Tour 4 - Agrigento and Piazza Armerina (full day excursion).
Full day by bus with our tour leader in the requested language, discovering the Greek Roman Sicily. Visit to the Greek temples valley in Agrigento. Lunch in typical restaurant (on request). In the afternoon we will continue to the Roman villa del Casale situated in Piazza Armerina, discovering its famous mosaics representing the old Roman habits.
Tour 5 - Mount Etna and Taormina (full day excursion).
Full day by bus with tour leader in the requested language to the Sapienza refugee (Etna south mt. 1900). Possile visit to the Silvestri’s craters or time for the excursion by the cable car and jeep reaching almost the top of the volcano. Lunch in typical restaurant (on request) and prosecution to Taormina. Optional visit to the ancient Greek Roman theatre or through the small streets of the historical village centre.
Tour 6 - Castelmola and Taormina (full day excursion).
Full day by bus with tour leader in the requested language to the nice town Castelmola on the top of Taormina. On arrival time at leisure to own tasting the almond wine in a great local bar. Then visit to Taormina, the world famous resort of Sicily. Optional visit to the Greek-Roman theatre and a walk in Corso Umberto street. Time at leisure for shopping.
Tour 7 - The Godfather and Taormina (full day excursion).
Full day by bus or mini bus with tour leader in the requested language. Visit of Taormina historical city centre and optional visit to the ancient Greek Roman theatre. Proceeding to Savoca, considered one of the most attractive places in the environ of Taormina. Here, the Bar Vitelli, with a gorgeous terrace, has a collection of photographs taken when Francis Ford Coppola shot some scenes of "The Godfather II". Free time for a "granita" at the Bar Vitelli; Then we walk to the chiesa Madre with its fine 16C. portal surmounted by a beautifully carved oculus and the coat of arms of Savoca, bearing the elderberry branch from which the name of the town is supposed to derive. The tour will continue to Forza d'Agrň, an attractive medieval hamlet caps the furthermost spurs of the Monti Peloritani with a splendid view of the coast. In 1990, Al Pacino and Sophia Coppola shot some scenes of the film "The Godfather III".
Tour 7 - Following Montalbano's traces (full day excursion).
Full day by bus or mini bus with an expert Montalbano movies tour leader in the requested language. Short visit of Punta Secca to see the Montalbano's house with it's balcony, the beach and the little beacon where Montalbano lives the car during the night. We proceed to Donnafugata to visit the villa (Donnafugata castle) of the mafia boss Balduccio Sinagra. We continue to Montelusa and Vigata (Ragusa Ibla), in order to visit the police headquarters of Montelusa and the city centre with it's Piazza Duomo, Palazzo Arezzi, Circolo di conversazione, San Giorgio. Stop for lunch in alocal restaurant (on request) and prosecution to Vigata (Scicli) to visit the police station and the small city centre. Our tour will continue to Modica, in order to visit the S.Giorgio church and Palazzo Pollara (the doctor and the journalist house in Montalbano's movie).
Tour 8 - Etna volcano at sunset (half day excursion).
Etna, land of legend and myth. Ancients looked at the mountain with respect and fear and they imagined it as the dwelling place of Vulcano (God of fire) and the Cyclopes. The Arabs called it “Mountain of mountains” (Mongibello). Half day by bus or mini bus with tour leader in the requested language from Catania, Acireale or Taormina to an altitude of 1900 mt (Rifugio Sapienza). Ascent by cable car and by jeep nearby the top of the volcano with an Alpine guide.
Tour 9 - Mount Etna (full day excursion).
One day excursion by motorcoach with our tour leader. We start from Taormina to Giarre, Zafferana, Rifugio Sapienza, south Etna at 1.900 meters. Visit of the Silvestri craters and time for trekking. Optional ascent with jeeps to the area of the main crater or possibility to organize a lunch.
Tour 10 - Etna round Alcantara (full day excursion).
Starting from Taormina we will reach the Alcantara Gorges. On to Randazzo and from there by Circumetnea train to Adrano. Again by bus to Sapienza refugee at 1.900 meters. Optional ascent to the area of the main crater or time to organize lunch (on request). Return to Taormina passing through Zafferana and Giarre.
Tour 11 - Etna valley Alcantara (half day excursion).
Starting from Taormina we will reach the Alcantara Gorges. Short stop, then on to Randazzo to visit the cathedral and the typical Sunday market. Departure to Etna north to reach 1.800 meters. Time for lunch (optional), trekking or to reach the craters by jeeps (optional).
