DAY 1: Welcome to Sicily.

At your arrival at the Airport, all guests will be welcomed by our tour leader and driver.

Guests will then be transferred to the hotel in order to check in, have some free time to get acquainted. After free time we head to the hotel restaurant for a welcome drink and a welcome dinner. Overnight at the hotel.

DAY 2: Taormina (by sea and land).

After breakfast, we meet our tour leader and our driver to reach our embarkation harbour.

Once there, we give go through a short briefing, then we embark on beautiful sailing boats.

We start navigating, passing by the coast and stopping from time to time for pictures. We can also stop for a swim! We then navigate to Isola Bella, a wonder of nature at the foot of Taormina, where we shall stop for brunch, which will be served on board, along with drinks.

After we are through with brunch we shall continue to the harbour, disembark and say goodbye to our skippers. We meet our driver and reach Taormina, one of the Pearls of the Mediterranean. We stop at the parking and reach the city. Once into the city centre, our tour leader will provide us with special roadmaps which will also include the guests’ company logo, and we’ll start an own visit of the city, discovering the most famous monuments at our own pace. There will also be a meeting point where we can refer to our tour leader. The activity will go on for circa 2,5 hours, we then meet again at the gathering point and proceed to our bus and reach the hotel. After free time to freshen up we head to our selected restaurant for a cosy dinner. After dinner, we drive back to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 3: Multisport on Mount Etna.

Right after breakfast, you will be greeted at the hotel by our tour assistant and drivers. Our target is to visit Mount Etna and offer a choice of 2 activities to our guests. The choice can be made between the below mentioned activities:

» Option 1: Canyoning & Off-road typical lunch in agritourism.

Pick up by Land Rover Defender 110 directly from the hotel. Arrival at the River Alcantara, dressing up and briefing. The technical equipment furnished includes a 5 mm neoprene suit, helmet, safety jacket, neoprene shoes. Guests will take their own swimming suit and sundeck towel. We start our activity. Canyoning is a multitask sport, a mix between swimming, climbing, gliding...the activity is performed into the gorges of River Alcantara, famous for its prismatic basaltic lava formations. It is really pure fun! The activity can be performed by each person with physical condition and the capacity to swim – so all in all it is available for almost everybody! We finish our activity, then we dress up with our own clothes again. We move further to an agritourism farm. Once there we shall have a typical Sicilian lunch with rural starters, pasta course, main meat course, dessert, fruit, water, wine and coffee. Once we are through with lunch, we relax a little and then start moving further, to the lava front of 2002. We reach the lava front and start the visit. The lava casting is really impressive, its start was announced by an earthquake in the night between 26 and 27 October 2002. We reach the Sartorius Mounts, extinct craters which used to be active until 1865, and after a simple walking excursion we are on top of the craters. After the walking excursion we start moving by off-road vehicles towards the Monte Fontane, leaving the regular roads and swapping them with an off-road track into the 1979 lava casting. We walk to the view point and enjoy the sight of the Valle del Bove, a valley left over by the collapse of the previous volcanoes Trifoglietto I and II, 65.000 thousand years ago. Once through with the walk to the view point we get back to the off-road vehicles for a tasting of almond pastries and sweet Sicilian wine. After the tasting we head to the hotel.

» Option 2: Mountain Biking & Canyoning typical lunch in agritourism.

Pick up by Land Rover Defender 110 directly from the hotel. We arrive at the base by the river and start the bike fitting (distribution of MBKs and fitting of the bicycles to the guests), followed by a briefing about the activity and itinerary. The technical equipment includes an aluminium MBK with a 24 shifts gearbox and a safety helmet; we suggest the guests have their own bicycling pants and gym shoes. We start our biking activity, taking us along a suggestive route along river Alcantara, with views on the lava formations by the river, passing by Castiglione on the North side of Etna, also reaching a byzantine Kubbah. We’ll pass by natural water sources along the way. The difference in height is quite low so the tour is accessible to all people in good shape. By the time we finish our activity we go through debriefing. We then transfer to an agritourism farm. Once there we shall have a typical Sicilian lunch with rural starters, pasta course, main meat course, dessert, fruit, water, wine and coffee. After lunch we relax a little, then have a briefing about canyoning. We move to our base by the river, once there we start dressing up. The technical equipment furnished includes a 5 mm neoprene suit, helmet, safety jacket, neoprene shoes. Guests will take their own swimming suit and sundeck towel. We start our second activity. » Option 3: Canyoning & Tarzaning typical lunch in agritourism.

Pick up by Land Rover Defender 110 directly from the hotel. Arrival on the River Alcantara, dressing up and briefing. The technical equipment furnished includes a 5 mm neoprene suit, helmet, safety jacket, neoprene shoes. Guests will take their own swimming suit and sundeck towel. We start our activity. After briefing we start the activity within the adventure park of the agritourism; the circuit is located on trees and it includes a Tibetan bridge, a Tyrolese bridge, the apes bridge, climbing test, the balance test...all activities are performed in maximum security as guests will be wearing a safety system with steel cable all the time.

There is a total amount of maximum 15 workshops, according to the capacity of the guests.

After the end of the activity we dress up with our own clothes, then head back to the hotel.

» Option 4: Tarzaning & Off-road typical lunch in agritourism.

Pick up by Land Rover Defender 110 directly from the hotel. We arrive at the adventure park into the agritourism, follows a briefing about the adventure park. After brifefing we start our activity: the circuit is located on trees and it includes a Tibetan bridge, a Tyrolese bridge, the apes bridge, climbing test, the balance test...all activities are performed in maximum security as guests will be wearing a safety system with steel cable all the time. There is a total amount of maximum 15 workshops, according to the capacity of the guests. At the end of the activity we have a typical Sicilian lunch: rural starters, pasta course, main meat course, dessert, fruit, water, wine and coffee. By the end of lunch, we head to the 2002 eruption; we reach the lava front and start the visit. After this pleasant walk we head towards the Monte Fontane by Land Rovers, leaving the regular roads and swapping them with an off-road track into the 1979 lava casting. All above services will be performed by means of our specialized staff, with the aid of the tour leader. Once back at the hotel we suggest to freshen up, relax, then dress up for tonight’s gala dinner, both at the hotel or in a local restaurant.

DAY 4: Goodbye to Sicily.

It has been a great time here in Sicily and we have got the chance of experiencing it in many different ways…we have our buffet breakfast at the hotel and check out to transfer to the airport. We say goodbye to everybody, carrying with us the stunning views of these days on the Island!
