DAY 1: Arrival, Welcome to Sicily.

Arrival at the Catania Airport, guests will be welcomed by our staff. During transfer from Catania airport to Catania city centre we shall welcome our guests and update them about the themes of the journey, introducing the activity thought up for today: an own visit of the main city and of a fishermen village nearby, by means of special roadmaps. This tour is important as it introduces the main theme of the third day. We reach the city centre and stop for a welcome drink into the main square; right after we split the group in teams and we consign the materials they need for this special visit, including cameras, discovering the locations of some famous Italian movies such as Malèna, Il Bell’Antonio, I Vicerè!

After this first visit we get on board of our bus again and move further to the second movie location, where Luchino Visconti shot "La terra Trema", in front of the sea and a very mythological area. Again guests will use our roadmaps and cameras until we are through and, on board of our bus, we reach the hotel, give free time to get acquainted and then have dinner at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: Fire & Wine.

In the morning, right after breakfast, you will be greeted at the hotel by our tour assistants and drivers. The group will be split in teams and we shall leave the hotel on board of jeeps.

The goal is to perform 2 activities: jeep tour and quad activity into the woods of the volcano.

We shall be based by a shelter on Mount Etna, into the pine-trees wood, which will also be our logistic base. We leave the hotel and reach the volcano, all jeeps will be radio-connected; then we leave the jeeps and shortly walk to the view point. From Monte Fontane one has an outstanding view of the Valle del Bove, giving the guests the possibility of understanding more of the nature of this volcano. We will then reach the Ragabo shelter, have a coffee break and a briefing to understand how a quad works, then we’ll start our fun activity, with two people per quad, taking us into a 60 minutes drive into the woods. Guests will have to drive themselves for circa 30 minutes each, swapping position from passenger to driver, which helps a lot in building a feeling of trust in each other. After we are through with these 2 activities it will be about time to go for lunch, and we have a special place to take you to: it is a winery on the slopes of the volcano, we’ll reach it in time to visit the production unit, the aging unit, and then of course have a lunch accompanied by different wines! After lunch we have thought up of one more activity, which can also be used as mean of aggregation: the teams will have to bottle their own bottles, put the cork and label the bottles manually, the old fashion way! In the end, all bottles have to be put into wooden individual boxes and they will be a nice present to take back home. Labels can be printed directly by the committing company or by us; in both cases they should bear the committing company logo. After we are through with all activities, we drive back to the hotel and give free time to freshen up and to dress up for tonight’s dinner. Tonight we suggest dinner in an excellent restaurant! After dinner we drive back to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 3: Movie Makers at the Godfather locations.

After breakfast, we meet our tour leaders and drivers to be taken to our destinations of the day: Savoca and Forza D’Agrò, the locations of some of the most significant scenes of the Godfather Movies Trilogy! We shall split the teams on to different locations, and they will rotate after lunch time. One of the teams will reach Savoca while the other will reach Forza D’Agrò; both villages are quite stunning as they are both set on top of hills, with amazing views and fascinating narrow roads, old churches, real Sicilian villages as one expects them to be. Our gaming staff will introduce us to the art of movie making and the teams will be assigned their tasks. The activities will start, each participant will be given a task and they will have to work hands on the project: the filmic reproduction of significant scenes of the trilogy The Godfather! At break time they will meet and have lunch together. After lunch we swap destinations and, once we have achieved all our goals we say goodbye to our gaming staff, reach our minibuses and drive back to our hotel. At the hotel we give free time to freshen up and dress up and then we reach our restaurant for tonight, a Folk Restaurant, with a welcome drink, a very good menu and our concluding show at gala dinner, a special awarding event for all participants. During the show, we also intend to introduce a charity auction, strictly tied to a local issue. Essentially, we intend to promote a national association which has been assigned, in Sicily and other Italian regions, the land and farmhouses that used to belong to definitely convicted mafia bosses. Among the tasks of this association, there is running of agricultural factories, also by means of employing former convicted for minor crimes, disabled people. We believe these associations are doing a fantastic job and deserve a helping hand. After dinner and dances we drive back to the hotel for overnight.

DAY 4: Goodbye to Sicily.

We had a great time here in Sicily, and we learned a lot about it…we have our buffet breakfast at the hotel, then check out and gather together for our transfer to the airport. Before departure, though, our staff will make the last special delivery: a copy of the material shot during the event for each participant, edited and with a soundtrack, for an enduring memory of an unforgettable experience! We say goodbye to everybody and get transferred to Catania airport, cherishing the memory of an unforgettable event.
