Day 1: Arrival.
Arrival of group in Malta. Welcome and assistance at the International Airport followed by direct transfer to Hotel by motor coach. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 2: Full Day Valletta, Dghajsa Harbour Cruise, 3-Cities.
Departure from hotel in motor coach accompanied by our guide to Valletta - the Capital City of Malta, built by the Knights of St. John. During our walking tour we will visit The Upper Barracca Gardens with a wonderful view of the Grand Harbour and the Three Historical Cities. We then visit St. Johns Co Cathedral, one of the most important monuments on the island. Four tundre memorial slabs cover the floor and the cathedral is full of beautiful paintings. Finally, we visit the Grandmasters Palace which has two lovely courtyards. After lunch our drive past Cospicua will bring us to Vittoriosa - the first home of the Knights of St. John. Well be taken through the still existing allies and Historic buildings as well St. Lawrence Church. The highlight of this trip is a short cruise, which takes us through the channel of Vittoriosa and Senglea.

Day 3: Full Day Prehistoric.
Departure from hotel in motor coach accompanied by our guide. We transfer to the south to visit Hagar Qim temple, unique among the Maltese temples. Just a short walking distance away we will be able to see the Mnajdra Temple. We then drive to Wied iz-Zurrieq which is also a small fishing village. In the afternoon we drive to Marsaxlokk which is Maltas largest village. Here one will be able to watch the fishermen mending their nets or painting their boats but above all admire this quaint village full of typical colourful fishing boats. (On Sunday morning there is a lively market). Finally we drive to Birzebbugia to visit Ghar Dalam, a 144 metres long natural cave, renowned for the remains of animals that lived on the island thousands of years ago. The massive stalactites and stalagmites, which it contains, reveal its very great antiquity.

Day 4: Full Day Gozo.
Departure from hotel in motor coach accompanied by our guide and transfer to Cirkewwa for ferryboat crossing to Mgarr Gozo (Maltas sister island), in itself a pleasant experience. Mgarr Harbour is picturesque with all kinds of sea craft. During this tour we will visit Ggantija Temples in Xaghra, built and developed between 3600 and 2400 BC, among the earliest architectural planned facades in the world. We then proceed to Victoria, in the centre of the island. The Citadel is a medieval fortified town with massive bastions dating back to the 17th century. In the afternoon we continue by visiting Xlendi Bay which has sheer cliffs and clean water, a very picturesque little village. Finally we proceed to Dwejra which is famous for its hanging windows.

» Day 5 (Option 1 if your flight leaves in the afternoon): Full Day Mdina Lunch.
After check out, departure from hotel in motor coach accompanied by our guide to the central part of Malta that is dominated by the ancient citadel of Mdina - The Old Capital City of Malta. Walking up to the imposing bastions, we can admire the panoramic view which commands most of the island. On leaving Mdina through the Greek Gate and stop in Rabat to visit the catacombs of St. Catald. We then proceed through Dingli Cliffs for a photo stop before the scheduled stop for lunch. In the afternoon we visit the Botanic Gardens of San Anton today the official residence of the Maltas President. Other stops will include the Mdina Glass blowing Factory at Ta Qali Handicrafts Village and the impressive Dome of Mostas Parish Church. On to the airport for your flight back home.

» Day 5 (Option 2 if your flight leaves in the afternoon): Mdina Wine Tasting and Lunch.
After check out, departure from hotel in motor coach accompanied by our guide to the central part of Malta that is dominated by the ancient citadel of Mdina - The Old Capital City of Malta. Walking up to the imposing bastions, we can admire the panoramic view which commands most of the island. On leaving Mdina through the Greek Gate and stop in Rabat to visit the catacombs of St. Catald. We will then walk to our restaurant for a wine tasting in our 2000 year old cave, with ½ bottle local wine per person. During the tasting a general explanation of Maltese wine culture, held by wine lovers in a friendly atmosphere and a historical heritage. On to the airport for your flight back home.
